My name is Dustin, and I am an Artist based in the beautiful city of Charleston, South Carolina. What began as a creative hobby during the challenging times of the Covid-19 pandemic has transformed into a passionate pursuit of artistic expression and creativity.

In 2021, while navigating the new normal of working from home, I started crafting unique pieces of art for neighbors and friends. The positive response and encouragement I received inspired me to establish a social media presence to share my artwork with a wider audience.

The turning point came in November 2021, when I created a design inspired by the Atlanta Braves' historic World Series victory! This piece gained unexpected attention and marked a significant milestone in my artistic journey, propelling Coastal Marsh Creations into the spotlight virtually overnight.

Coinciding with this newfound success, I faced a pivotal moment in my professional life when I received news of being laid off from my role as a business development manager due to a Covid-related business closure. In light of this unexpected turn of events, my family and I made the courageous decision to embrace the world of art wholeheartedly.

In December 2021, I took a leap of faith and committed to becoming a full-time artist, determined to pursue my lifelong passion and turn my dreams into reality. Thus, Coastal Marsh Creations was born, representing the culmination of my dedication to creating art that celebrates the beauty of the coastal marshes and beyond.
